D-3
It's a day spent only waiting for Monday not to come. Does the previous night's drinking make today even more agonizing? Trapped in bed, if only the weekend hadn't ended...
D-2
I slept in like any other workday morning today. Naturally, I didn't have time for breakfast.
With a trip waiting for me in two days, I just want to spend today energetically, but why do all Mondays feel so draining?
D-1
For the upcoming trip, things to prepare:
1. Passport
2. Money
3. Phone and charger
4. and a neck pillow
DAY 1
Met grandfather at the Tate Museum. In the quiet exhibition hall, suddenly the fire alarm rang, and grandfather grabbed a stick and a chair, climbed up, and wildly poked the round alarm. His young colleague just watched.
DAY 2
Whether abandoned on a New York street or momentarily left behind,
a tomato can with a spoon inside, standing alone.
And across, a very small and cute police car...
DAY 3
Auckland could be considered my hometown.
The sign glimpsed through the bushes is the ice cream I used to eat often as a child.
I chatted with an old friend at a cafe across the street.
DAY 4
Morning in the forest feels refreshing.
With a warm flat white in hand, taking a morning walk among the cold trees,
today seems like it will be perfect.
DAY 5
Embarked on a sketching trip to Lisbon.
Ordered two espressos that disappear in a sip and transferred the scenery in front of me onto paper.
I should have brought more colored pencils.
DAY 6
When crossing the street in a foreign country, be sure to look both ways carefully!
DAY 7
Looking at the collected receipts, it's clear that this trip has exceeded the budget.
However, I'll leave all these worries to next month's me and start preparing for another trip.
