DIVE IN JIAE LEE ART STAY GYEONGJU 2
<Ilwolobongdo: Sun, Moon, and Five Peaks>
The artist, Ji-ae Lee was inspired by the historical ambiance of Gyeongju, South Korea,
to create a floral artwork depicting the Joseon Dynasty's 'Ilwol O'Bongdo,' which means Sun, Moon, and Five Peaks.
She worked imagining the mountains of Gyeongju blooming with flowers, using pressed flowers dried from real blossoms.
She wants to convey to guests the feeling of being surrounded by flowers, as if they were kings or queens during their stay in the room.
