<Color of jeju - Volcanic Orange>

The artist, Yerin Cho is exploring and creating artworks through discovering, being inspired by, and investigating primitive handicraft techniques as if traveling the world. Particularly, focusing on the material of 'thread,' 

she expresses a variety of colors and dense textures, exploring the possibility of applying it to everyday spaces.

The work reflects the volcanic geography of Jeju, inspired by colors found in the land of Jeju.

In particular, the lighting series captures the colors of volcanic scoria, ranging from high-saturation orange to deep brown,

reflecting the diverse shades found in nature, and can be experienced in the rooms.

By tightly wrapping thread around a metal frame, the light from the lamp and the color of the thread blend together when illuminated,

allowing you to closely experience a spectrum of colors.
